ABC Healthcare, in partnership with Grifols, is seeking a Bilingual EMTB to support safe, high-quality care for plasma donors. In this on-site role, you will perform EMT-B level assessments, monitor donor well-being, and respond to donor reactions using established emergency protocols. You will communicate clearly with Spanish-speaking donors, explaining procedures, obtaining histories, and providing aftercare instructions. Working within a collaborative, inclusive culture, you’ll assist with vitals, documentation, and equipment use while following strict safety and infection control standards. Provide emergency medical care and monitoring to plasma donors on-site
Perform EMT-B level assessments, triage, and basic life support interventions
Communicate with and educate Spanish-speaking donors, ensuring understanding of procedures and aftercare
Assist with pre-donation screening, vital signs, and medical history documentation
Support physicians and RNs with donor reactions and incident reporting
Maintain accurate, confidential medical records and documentation
Operate and troubleshoot basic medical equipment used in plasma collection
Participate in safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols
Collaborate with clinical and center staff to ensure efficient donor flow
Engage in ongoing training and continuing education to maintain certifications
